RUMOURS AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTS

1) Alpha Bank Completes Squeeze-Out of Alpha Trust to Reach 100% Stake

Alpha Bank acquired the remaining 69,324 voting shares of Alpha Trust for €20.20 per share in cash, completing its squeeze-out process on 24 August 2026 and increasing its total ownership to 100%.

2) Energean Reported in Exclusive Negotiations to Acquire BP's Egyptian Assets for up to $1bn

According to Reuters, citing two people involved in the process, Energean has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire select upstream oil and gas assets in Egypt from BP for a potential consideration of c. $1bn. The transaction includes BP's stakes in the producing West Nile Delta offshore fields, as well as a 50% contractor working interest in the Temsah concession located in the Eastern Mediterranean. The potential acquisition aligns with the buyer's strategy to expand its geographic presence in Africa and diversify its portfolio beyond its existing natural gas operations in Israel.

3) Dai Nippon Printing Secures 96.55% of Austriacard in Public Offer at €10.00 per Share

Dai Nippon Printing's voluntary public offer for Austriacard was accepted for 35.1 million (35,099,096) shares, or 96.55% of share capital and voting rights, at €10.00 per share, satisfying the minimum acceptance threshold. Completion remains subject to Austrian foreign direct investment approval, with the Greek and Romanian clearances already obtained. DNP intends to proceed to a squeeze-out, which would lead to the delisting of Austriacard from the Vienna Stock Exchange and Euronext Athens. An additional acceptance period runs to 26 November 2026.
