1) Profile S.A. to Acquire 87.23% of Algosystems S.A.
Profile Systems & Software S.A. has reached a binding agreement to acquire 87.23% of Algosystems S.A., marking a strategic expansion into the wider technology, automation, and metrology sectors. As this website had previously written, the move aligns with Profile’s broader plan to strengthen its position in integrated tech services.
The Target
Algosystems is a solution provider and system integrator, in Information & Communications Technology, Automation & Control, and Metrology markets.

The Buyer
Founded in 1990, Profile Software is a leading international software solutions provider for the Banking and Investment Management industries. The company has a presence in Europe, the Middle East, America, Asia and Africa delivering innovative solutions to both start-ups and established banking & finance institutions, through direct communication or a reliable partners network.
AGRICULTURE
1) Efthymiadis Agrotechnologies Expands into Spain
Efthymiadis Agrotechnologies, via its parent company Redestos S.A., has acquired three Spanish seed companies: Guadalsem, Semillas de Guadalquivir, and Olesem. The move marks a significant step in the group’s expansion across the Mediterranean. The acquired companies specialize in production, processing, and packaging of certified seeds for crops such as cotton, corn, sunflower, rapeseed, and cereals, collectively generating approximately €12 million in annual turnover.
The Targets
Guadalsem is a Seed Production and Marketing company, with a staff of professionals from the sector. Guadalsem has proven experience in the seed business, both in marketing (currently selling varieties of cotton, sunflower, and cereals directly through its extensive distribution network under licenses from large multinational companies), as well as in field production (cotton, cereals, corn, rapeseed, sunflower, sorghum, and soybeans), in their processing and certification, and in research and development.
Semillas del Guadalquivir S.L. is a Spanish seed company with over a decade of experience in production, processing, certification, and international trade of agricultural seeds.
The Buyer
K&N Efthymiadis ABEE was founded in 1935 and is the largest company of the Efthymiadis Group, which has been operating under the name REDESTOS Efthymiadis Agrotechnology Group since 2003. The Group includes ten companies in Greece and abroad, engaged in Production, Research & Development, and the provision of services in Agriculture.
ENERGY
1) Quest Holdings expands its renewable energy capacity
Quest Holdings acquired a portfolio of solar parks in Attiki with a total installed capacity of 4.2 MW for €3.5m. Following this transaction, the Group increased its overall renewable energy capacity to 43.4 MW.
