Mega Brokers Acquires Deal Insurance

Mega Brokers acquired Deal Insurance, a Greece-based insurance agency operating primarily in Crete. The transaction value was not disclosed. The acquisition aligns with the buyer's strategy to strengthen its insurance brokerage platform and expand its geographical footprint in the local market.

Deal Insurance is a Greece-based insurance agency operating 35 years located in Crete. The company operates a network of over 50 partners.

The Buyer

Mega Brokers is a Greece-based insurance brokerage firm. The company focuses on developing an insurance mediation platform in the local market, aiming to provide its partner network with expanded access to insurance products.

Net Income – 2024: €2.0m

RUMOURS AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTS

1) CrediaBank Completes Acquisition of 70% of Pantelakis Securities


CrediaBank completed the acquisition of a 70% stake in Pantelakis Securities for €8.75m, under the agreement announced in May 2026. The Greek brokerage, operating since 1920, is renamed CrediaPantelakis Securities, with existing management under CEO Nikos Pantelakis remaining in place. The transaction aims to expand the bank's investment services and increase fee income.

 

2) Fairfax Reportedly in Advanced Talks to Acquire Vivartia's Foodservice Arm


According to press reports, Fairfax and Recipe Unlimited remain in advanced talks to acquire Evergood, the foodservice arm of CVC-owned Vivartia, for c. €300m. Evergood operates the Goody's, Everest, Flocafé, La Pasteria and Jackaroo chains. No binding agreement has been signed.

 

3) PPC Completes Acquisition of 277.3 MW RES Portfolio in Poland


PPC completed the acquisition of a renewable energy portfolio in Poland with a total capacity of 277.3 MW from EDP Renewables. The transaction, agreed on 31 July, 2026, comprises 175.4 MW of operational assets (130.5 MW in wind farms and 44.9 MW in solar parks) and 101.9 MW of solar projects currently under development. The acquisition aligns with the group's geographic expansion strategy across Central and Southeastern Europe.

 

4) Cosmos Consulting Acquires NovelCosmos AI


Cosmos Consulting acquired the remaining stake in NovelCosmos AI, bringing its holding to 100%. The transaction value was not disclosed. The acquisition aims to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into the group's enterprise solutions. Cosmos Group announced a €5.0m investment in new facilities in Metamorfosi, alongside planned infrastructure investments exceeding €10.0m across Greece and Cyprus.
