Intralot acquires Bally's International Interactive business

On July 1st, Intralot, the Greek-listed lottery and gaming company, announced the acquisition of Bally's International Interactive, an operational segment of Bally's Corporation, for a consideration of €2.7bn, consisting of both cash and shares of the buyer.


For the financing of the transaction, a syndicate of 4 banks provided Intralot with a €1.6bn loan with an additional €400m to be raised through a share capital increase.


The transaction is set to create a global lottery and gaming vertically integrated powerhouse, with significant presence in the Americas and Europe.
